I graduated from Xavier in the fall of 2011 with majors in History and Theology and minors in Peace Studies and Gender and Diversity Studies. I grew up in House Springs, MO.
In a broad sense, I examined the effect of encroaching global society upon indigenous cultures and the efforts these people have made to preserve their culture. In order to narrow this field of investigation, I chose to visit the Canadian Yukon and Alaska to interview members of the Tr’ondek Hwech’in tribe and examine what success they have had in maintaining their native traditions and lifestyle.

These days I am seeking enlightenment near St. Louis, MO.
