Nazly Mamedova

My name is Nazly Mamedova, and I am a 2009 Xavier graduate, a Brueggeman Fellow alumni from 2007-2008. As an undergraduate student at Xavier University,I majored in International Affairs and interned at Palestine Solidarity Campaign in London, UK during the fall semester of my junior year. I love travel, and I have been to about 30 countries. My Brueggeman travel and research was primarily in Iran in the summer of 2008. As I was researching a very unique Islamic law, I was very lucky to be in the country where it primarily applies! Following my passion towards law and politics, upon the graduation, I applied to the law school.

What They're Doing Now

I am now completing my J.D. from NKU Salmon P. Chase Law School in Northern Kentucky. This summer, I will be interning at Kentucky Refugee Ministries in Louisville, KY. My goal is to practice Immigration law when I graduate. I cannot wait to serve and represent Cincinnati’s immigrant population.
