About The Xavier University Brueggeman Center For Dialogue
The Edward B. Brueggeman Center for Dialogue at Xavier University has one fundamental belief: whatever the solutions to the issues and challenges we face as communities, as nations and as a world, the path must begin with dialogue and must result in ongoing dialogue. We are dedicated to providing space and opportunity for that dialogue about the our most challenging issues. Interreligious dialogue runs through everything we do; however, we believe that the conversation must also include the other academic disciplines, representatives from the business community, government and civic society.
The work of the center includes conferences, research and publications, and interfaith and inter-religious activities as well as exploring new forms of collaborative engagement on issues of religious, social and cultural diversity, social and economic justice, ecological sustainability, and local and global responsibility. One of our most creative and effective programs is the Winter-Cohen Brueggeman Fellows Program.
